The Charlie & Lola Party !

Erin has turned 2 !! When did that happen ? I know everyone says the same thing but boy has that last year flown by ! Well as we are HUGE Charlie and Lola fans i decided to give her a "Charlie & Lola Party" !  It was such a lovely day. It wasn't only the usual million family members, it was a lot smaller, surrounded by close family and friends...old ones and new ones, and it made it a lot more relaxing ! Though there were still 20 kids running everywhere !

The cake ! Now i have been mocked constantly about this, that i have too much time on my hands ect ect ! But it didn't actually take that long ! I used ready rolled icing to decorate , including the flowers which took about half an hour ! The little characters i made out of "Crayola Model Magic" which is the most awesome product i've used in ages - and they didn't take long at all ! Anyway i was pleased as punch with the finished cake and most importantly Erin loved it too !

Birthdays are only once a year and yes they can be stressful and hard work but in my opinion they are worth every second spent. They will only be little once and soon will be all grown up ... i want their memories filled with days like these, i know mine are !
