Our usual sleepy beachside town was "invaded" yesterday ! We have spent 4 Australia Days in Bundeena and every year it has gotten busier and busier ! Yesterday was mindblowing ! EVERY road was full even the ones a long walk to the beach were full... this was by 9am !!! This small town could not take another person !! I assume alot of people arrived by ferry as there was a bit of a mass exodus between 5 and 6 pm ( the last ferry out !!) The photo on my main page - just to the right shows you this beach on a normal day !!!
We all went down to the beach at 6pm, it was still busy but there was room to move at least !!
I love seeing how big Australia Day is getting ! With all the problems in the world big and small... they are all forgotten when we all come together, all races and creeds and just have fun in the sunshine with family and friends... it doesnt get any better really...
