The little things ..: The Dinosaur Museum !!!

Last week we went to the Australian Museum or as Alex calls it the "dinosaur museum" ! We got a train into Sydney ... a big deal to my 4 year old ! He told every person who crossed our paths where we were going, train passengers, ticket sellers, cleaners, even the bakery girl where we grabbed a bread roll for the journey ! So we get there, meet up with Karen and Caroline and kids and head for the Dinosaur gallery. What does my boy do ? He freezes and will not step foot into the room ! Anyone who knows Alex knows what a HUGE dinosaur fan he is. He has dinosaurs everywhere.... books, figurines, colouring books, t-shirts, his bed sheets even a bike !!! He is too funny ! I coaxed him over to the fossils and he relaxed a bit. He then began to enjoy himself thank goodness ! Next step was to the Dinosaur show they had on. We went into a room and Alex was up next to Austin and Karen, i was 3 rows in front. I had a quick thought that he may not like it but brushed it aside !!! This dinosaur lifesize puppet came charging into the room, Alex lept onto Karen lap and burst into tears ! In his defense so did a lot of kids !! Ha ha ! Karen managed to calm him but he didnt look to happy ! See photos !!! Funny, funny boy ! After all that as soon as we returned home he told daddy that he can't wait to go again....tomorrow !!!
