playgrounds and teethy pegs !

  2 weeks ago we went to the fish markets via Darling Harbour, as Shaun had a day off, we took the kids to the new playground.  Alex was playing on the flying fox whilst Erin climbed on a small wood barrier around the garden bed.

 Next thing Erin was face down in the dirt ...., anyone who really knows me, knows that i am a complete nightmare when it comes to kids teeth...anyones kids not only mine ! Whenever there is a fall with tears, their lips are ripped up to check for damage ! So Alex has made it to nearly 5 with all teeth in tact, but my little Erin will probally not be so lucky ! Weirdly when she hurt herself i didn't check her teeth ?? About ten mins after the tears stopped she opened her mouth to show me and i saw one tooth pushed backwards ! Panic sets in and i pretty much raced to the carpark ( to do what i'll never know ? ) After the fish markets we headed to mums, quick trip to the dentist and he confirmed my worse fears, it may fall out, need to be pulled out or will turn black ! The next day she was very swollen but was doing fine.

Then just as i start to forget about it , last night she fell onto the dinning table and put the same tooth through her lip/chin area ! So yes, there were tears..mainly mine ! So the tooth situation looks worse, i keep saying she is so like Austin...maybe they will be alot more similar !! I hope it stays put, even if it goes dark...now just have to sit and wait !

I know its only a baby tooth, and not an eye or anything more serious, but still feel guilty and bummed about it ! Poor Erin, now known as Rocky or BillyBob as daddy called her this morning !
