The Olympics !!

Alexs' school celebrated the Olympics last week. It was for Education Week and it was to raise money for the school garden. Each class was given a country to learn about and represent ....... 

Alex got Egypt !?! On the day they had to dress in the colours on the flag... in Alexs' case Red,Black, White and Gold. The day was absolutely FREEZING ! It threatened to  rain all day but amazingly it held of with little sprinkles and ALOT of wind !! They had 20 challenges/activities to get through...

The "opening ceremony" had to get moved into the hall...

"The Torch" got passed to everyone...

And was lit !

Erin was a star..patiently walking from challenge to challenge in freezing cold winds, didn't complain once....of course there were alot of muddy puddles to keep her smiling !!!
