We have had a terrible Feb so far.... rain, hail, bits of sunshine but generally crappy weather.... i have lost count how often the weir has shut and we are "trapped" on our "island" ! But Saturday was just plain weird.... it started off miserable, then cleared up and it was warm, then is started to rain Again ! Shaun and Alex ( dressed in wellies and a raincoat ) went down to Shanes', then about 5 mins later the most glorious sun came out of nowhere ! I grabbed Alexs' swimming things and we raced to the beach ... basically grabbing it while we could !! They were both so happy to be on the beach again !! Lets hope we have more days like this... i'm not ready for winter....
