face painting

Alex was given a set of face paints from a friend for his 5th birthday....mean mummy put them away !! Today while de-cluttering the toy cupboard we found them ! Erin was Alexs' ready "victim" ! It was actually pretty cute. He asked her what she would like and as she has only even gotten it done once before and it happened to be a butterfly....she wanted another butterfly ! They sat at the table for at least half an hour, chatting and adding ideas to paint on her ! She was so happy and kept it on all day....till later in the afternoon, we filled up the paddling pool and she looked at me sadly and said "my butterfly is gone" !!!
