A while ago my cousins boys decorated a pair of canvas shoes ....i remember thinking at the time what a great idea it was. But it left my brain until shopping recently with my friend Karen who was also buying shoes and pens and paint as she was hosting an art/craft event through her work with The Salvation Army, and one of the sessions was to paint some shoes !!! So after spending a small fortune in "Riot" ( that place is not a good place to visit for a girl like me !!! ) , i went to Kmart to buy the shoes and then the next morning i got it all out. Erin was a tad concerned as i was telling her to draw on a brand new pair of shoes !! (must hide those markers !! ) Ha ha ! They had a ball doing it and the shoes have been worn not stop, Erin proved they were permanent markers by wearing them in the pool this afternoon !!! So thanks Louise and Karen for the inspiration !!
Erin had to get pink as there were no white left in her size ... not that she complained !!
