Alex had his first game of Hockey tonight ... The Zipsticks ! Another sport to try out ! He has said he wants to skip tennis this term as he is doing "real" swimming lessons too on a Tuesday ! I never want to be the family which gets over taken with activites just for "something to do" each day ! But we will see when Friday comes around, whether he sees his mates going to tennis and changes his mind ! But tonight was fun ! He was really good, ran like crazy, hit the ball alot .... most importantly didn't get smacked in the mouth !! Anyone that knows me cannot believe i am "letting" him do hockey with my teeth obsession !! Lets just say he is sporting the most expensive mouthguard the sports shop stocked ! Ha ha !! I nearly dropped my camera halfway through when i saw his team mate run to the umpire, then heard her say " her tooth is out !" .... yes she was 6 years old, it was loose and the mouthguard made it come out !!! Should be a fun season for me !! Ha ha !!
